Ryan FeldmanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We cannot say enough great things about Oscar, The Dog Dood. We left our 6-month-old Bernedoodle with Oscar for two weeks while we were on vacation, and the results exceeded our expectations. Our puppy is incredibly sweet but extremely high-energy, and with two young kids in the house, we were looking for help creating better structure, consistency, and obedience. From the moment Oscar returned her, the difference was obvious. She was significantly more attentive, responsive to commands, and much better at listening and following instructions. What impressed us most was that Oscar didn't just teach obedience commands—he helped establish behaviors that make everyday life at home much more enjoyable. Our Bernedoodle came back calmer, more focused, and better equipped to thrive in a busy family environment. Oscar clearly has a gift for working with dogs and understanding how to tailor training to each dog's personality and needs. He also took the time to explain what he worked on and how we could continue reinforcing the training at home. If you're considering professional dog training, especially for a high-energy puppy, we highly recommend Oscar, The Dog Dood. The improvement in just two weeks was remarkable, and we feel like we came home to a better-behaved, happier dog. Thank you, Oscar! I first met Oscar when Stogie was a puppy, and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without him. Stogie wouldn’t walk on a leash, resource guarded, ignored commands, and was an absolute handful. Within just a few sessions, Oscar completely turned things around. Stogie became a confident, well-behaved dog who now loves going on walks and is a joy to be around. Oscar also helped prepare Stogie for his first flight, and thanks to that training, he did amazing. No matter what challenge comes up, Oscar always has a solution and truly cares about setting both dogs and owners up for success. In addition, I travel frequently and often have very early flights or get home late at night. Oscar makes my life so much easier by picking Stogie up from my house and dropping him back off when I return. I never have to worry about rushing before a trip or making an extra stop after a long travel day. More importantly, I have complete peace of mind knowing Stogie is being cared for like one of his own. His daycare services have also been a lifesaver. Whether I have an event, a long workday, or need someone to stop by and walk Stogie, I know I can count on Oscar. If you’re looking for training, daycare, boarding, dog walking, or simply someone you can trust completely with your dog, look no further. Oscar is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely loves what he does. I recommend The Dog Dood to everyone I know, and I wouldn’t trust Stogie with anyone else. Abby PerryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oscar is the best. I have a 5 month old Goldendoodle puppy who was scared, highly reactive and hard to walk on a leash. After a 2 week board and train with Oscar, he came back a lot calmer, confident and much more manageable. My Labradoodle also completed a 2 week board and train with Oscar back in 2023. Oscar did wonders for us. Now, I can take both dogs in public and we often receive compliments on how well behaved they are. Oscar is not only very knowledgeable and professional, but he is also kind and caring. I completely trust him with my pups and will continue to utilize his services in the future. Highly recommend!!! Judd WilliamsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oscar has been the biggest blessing to our family . Not only has he maintained our doodle’s training by using a structured approach, he also offers boarding in a family setting where our boy can feel like he’s at home and included. We love the fact that he gets to be around several other dogs while being in Oscar’s care so he feels like he’s a part of a “pack”.. but also gets important one on one attention. Our doodle always looks forward to seeing oscar and his friends and we are so thankful for him! - the Williams family Danielle JohnsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oscar is a miracle worker. He took our young boxer — who was honestly a wild animal — and transformed him into a well-behaved, confident pup. He taught us how to walk him calmly in public and how to get a rock-solid off-leash stay anywhere we ask. Beyond his skill as a trainer, Oscar is just a genuinely wonderful person to work with. We can’t recommend him highly enough! Roger SnowTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. It’s like he switched dogs on us. We handed Oscar an anxious and yapping (but friendly and adorable) little scamp, and two weeks later he handed us back a perfectly behaved little boy. We couldn’t be happier. Not only does he walk her, but he takes her to the coolest dog friendly places in Vegas!! Leslie CulbertsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have a female goldendoodle that is 3 ½ years old. Her name is Tess and she is a medium sized dog at 50 lbs. Our doodle had some basic training from the breeder which was helpful. However, she had a few bad habits, for example: barking at dogs, cats, horses and other large animals on TV. She thought they were in our house or they were being mistreated. She would bark at the TV and try to find the animals. This means she would try to jump at the TV. Oscar helped us correct this behavior. It requires us to get the example and us the commands. We realized that walking her with a no pull harness, was still like being pulled, and we wanted a dog that would heel and walk with us not drag us around. We wanted a friendly dog that understood commands and would follow commands as well as play well with our grandchildren and other dogs. We tried doggie daycare, but that was not structured, and she was not getting enough exercise. Too much standing around time. We then met Oscar the Dog Dood and asked that he train Tess over a period of 3 weeks. We wanted a dog that would respond to commands and that we would need to be trained and consisted in our response to the dog. Using the same commands. Oscar did a great job training for Tess and us. She can walk with us on leash or off; she understands all her commands and follows them. She knows how to sit and stay in position until she is released. She is clear when she needs to go outside. She listens for traffic and knows when to heel or sit on command. In addition to the great training, Oscar boards dogs and we know she is well cared for and has time with other dogs while being boarded. Plus Oscar can train and make corrections where needed. Oscar does custom walking to different parks, plus day trips with dogs including a career day at a local primary school. This is an opportunity for the dogs to show off and for children to learn how best to approach a dog. We can now go to restaurants that allow dogs on the patio without worries of how Tess will behave. She is calm and attentive toward her surroundings. It is freeing to know that our dog will respond to our commands and that makes every day enjoyable. We feel very fortunate to have found Oscar, The Dog Dood. It has been a wonderful journey. Molly IrvingTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Love love love Oscar! He is so good with our pups and we can always rest easy when they’re under his care. He is extremely knowledgeable about safe practices and dog behavior and always sends photo updates. Our dogs always have the best time with him and I couldn’t recommend him more for your training/walking/boarding needs. Todd Cyr [Lied STEM Academy]Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Oscar was amazing. He Inspired a positive transformation in our golden doodle puppy. She listens much better and is not as much of a source of stress for us anymore thanks to him. More importantly, he trained us so that we know how to keep her in line. Although two weeks was a long time to be without her, , Oscar made sure to send us pics and videos every day to keep us informed of her progressI highly recommend the Dog Dood!
We feel so lucky to have found Oscar to care for our dog, Rocky. He walks Rocky three times a week and also boards him when we're out of town. We couldn't ask for more. Rocky loves spending time with him and gets so excited when it's time for a walk! With our busy family schedule, we're not always able to give Rocky the exercise and outdoor time he needs. Oscar has truly been a huge help. He's kind, dependable, and really cares about Rocky. If you're looking for someone who treats your dog like family, we highly recommend Oscar. We're so grateful to have him!
Oscar has watched our two pups multiple times now and we can comfortably say there's no one else we'd trust to give them the care and attention they deserve. He sends updates and photos regularly of them playing and with his background in dog training, we also trust that he is keeping them safe and well-behaved. Our dogs love Oscar and he loves them like his own. we are so happy we found Oscar. We could not recommend him more for your dog walking or boarding needs!
I can't recommend The Dog Dood enough! Stogie absolutely loves getting out of the house during the day and spending time with other dogs. Whether it's daily walks or longer boarding stays, I know he's in the best hands with Oscar. He is the only one I trust with Stogie!
